About Leneve

Leneve Mellow is a young artist born and raised in The Bronx of New York City. Leneve's first form of artistry started with her early years of dance training. She trained at her first dance school at Broadway Dance Center, starting at the age of 8 years old from 2009 through 2013. Shortly after, Leneve attended The Alvin Ailey Camp in the summer of 2013 at the age of 12 and jumped right into officially training at The Alvin Ailey Studios that same year through 2019. Through all of those years, Leneve has always strived for success and learned how broad her artistry and creativity can fully take her. In May of 2022, Leneve graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Digital Journalism and a minor in Business Management and Dance at Marymount Manhattan College. She hopes to do more with her journalism and writing career in the near future as well.

Leneve Mellow has always had a complete love for modeling since she was very little. She knew she wanted to star in the field at a very young age. Leneve started modeling at the age of 6 with her mother back when she was also a working model, starting in the early 90s. Leneve and her mother were both featured in Soul Food Magazine's 2007 spread. Since then, her love and curiosity for modeling only grew stronger. Leneve has worked with various brands such as Kat Von D, Clinique, Innisfree, Humphrey's Witch Hazel, Makeup Forever, Instagram, Tinder and so many more! In 2021, Leneve had the opportunity to work with M.A.C Cosmetics twice in the month of March and was featured in their new Disney movie "Cruella" makeup Collection release. She was also featured in the January 2022 magazine spreads for Top Posters, MVibe, and Marika. In 2023, she was featured in Rebel Magazine in one of their spreads on women empowerment and equality.

Leneve's dream is to become a top model in the industry someday while also tapping into her creative aspects in becoming a writer and an overall artist in the making. Growing up in the creative scene, she was heavily inspired by artists such as Judith Jamison, Alvin Ailey himself, Tahani Salah, and many others. She hopes to inspire others as these figures have and continue to grow as an upcoming individual.
